Recently completed a 17 years tenure with Optum Healthcare, a division of the United Healthcare Group. As their Lead Consultant, Dr Fong was responsible for their broad suite of Health and Wellbeing programs. Developing and delivering executive related contents like executive coaching, capability development to profiling human data analytics. Key Accounts include: Banking and Finance, IT & Technologies, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Biomedical among others.
Prior to being a Counselling Psychologist specializing in clinical cases like: psycho-legal forensic, substance abuse and stress related issues, Dr. Fong led the role of orchestra conductor and music director. Hence, bringing with him a wealth of sustainable business strategies from the concert hall to the corporate boardroom.
April 2016, Chris was appointed National Fellow to the Singapore Ministry of Social and Family. Advising and mentoring the social service sector leaders and specialists to align with the national competency framework. One of his key research on Fathers at the workplace conducted nationwide in 2012 has since impacted government and business organizations’ pro-family and work-life friendly policies.

Dr Fong’s evidence based model, “The Systemic Perspective Approach (SPA)” solution based model has been featured at conferences, international courts of justice, universities, media and various publications.
He was conferred the Doctor of Professional Studies(Practice Research) in 2015 and is a voting member with the American Psychological Association (APA).
